After an accident and fracturing four vertebrae, I could no longer stand upright, and walking was very painful.
Very quickly, the tricycle solution, due to its stability and the pain-relieving posture it offers, became the obvious choice for me, and not just any tricycle.
I conducted research, and the models offered by Damius company seemed the most suitable. Their design with a very low step-through, the choice of motor, brakes, frame solidity, differential, shopping basket, electric assistance, and all other features appeared to be the best fit for my needs.
I tried various tricycles, but their seating position and handling were not suitable for me.
I then contacted Damius company, and the detailed information I received encouraged me to try one.
I went to Miramas, where I was able to try different models and receive valuable advice, which ultimately convinced me that it was the right choice.
Today, I do not regret my purchase at all; I have had this tricycle for over two years, and it has given me back a freedom I had lost.
I use it every day and cover about ten kilometers daily. It does wonders for my morale and physical well-being.
During these two years, I received all the advice I needed from the Damius Technician, and I benefited from several free adaptations under warranty.
I have recommended this tricycle to many people I met who expressed curiosity.
Furthermore, it is important to know that if you have the “Mobility Inclusion Parking” card, half of the purchase price is reimbursed by the state. You can also receive assistance from your municipality; for me, it was €300.
