Our tricycles have recently been listed on the Decathlon website. Thirteen references are currently listed there. This number may seem surprising, but a good portion corresponds to the same models available in different wheel sizes or colors. In reality, you’ll find the four or five flagship models from our current range.
What’s important to understand: Decathlon acts here as a marketplace. The tricycles displayed are “sold and shipped by Damius.” Decathlon does not manage stock, logistics, or customer service. You order through their interface, but it’s our team in Miramas that prepares your order, ships it, and provides follow-up.
Whether you order from Decathlon or directly from our website, Cédric assembles your tricycle, Sébastien performs adjustments and road tests before shipping, and Jérémy manages after-sales service. Nothing changes in this regard.

The Essential — €2,490
This is our entry-level electric model. Front-wheel motor, pedal sensor, 417Wh battery (720Wh optional), standard differential. Single color and size. This is the model chosen by those who want reliable assistance for daily commutes, without seeking particular performance. Michèle, 72, has been using it for a year to go to the market twice a week, and she hasn’t had any issues.
The Essential Fatbike — €2,690
Same motor as the Essential, but with wide 20×4.00″ tires. The benefit is felt on damaged surfaces, country roads, or cobblestone streets—the ideal companion on sand. This is often the choice for people living in rural areas or in towns where the condition of sidewalks leaves much to be desired.

The Evasion — €2,990
Our best-seller since 2016. Available with 20″ or 24″ wheels and in 4 colors, it offers hydraulic disc brakes, a Nexus derailleur, turn signals, and an integrated anti-theft device. The very low step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting easy. For someone who makes slightly longer journeys or is looking for more complete equipment, this model often stands out.
The Evasion Evo — €3,790
Our most advanced model. It is equipped with a Bafang M510 mid-drive motor placed in the center of the frame, which develops 95 Nm of torque. This is a very different motorization from hub motors: it transmits power directly to the chain, which gives a much more natural pedaling sensation. The torque sensor measures the effort provided in real-time and adjusts assistance accordingly. For a person with fragile joints or who wants to protect their knees in the long term, the difference is felt from the very first kilometers.
Prices are the same, but some differences exist
A Damius tricycle costs exactly the same on Decathlon as on our website. No extra cost related to the platform, no discount either. What you see is what you pay.
However, some options are not available on Decathlon. The cargo box, for example, is offered at €400 on our site for all current models except the Evasion Mid-Drive 20″. If you wish to add it to your order, the easiest way is to call us directly. Mathis or Charly can guide you and process your request directly.
Decathlon product pages are also less detailed than those on our website: no model comparison, less technical information, no access to our complete documentation. If you have specific questions about frame geometry, the appropriate size for your body type, or compatibility with an accessory, our website remains the best source of information, and our team the best option for a direct answer.
Our Tricycles are EPACs, Not Mopeds
Regardless of where you buy, this point remains the same: all our tricycles are electric pedal-assisted cycles (EPACs) compliant with European regulations. 250 W motor, assistance limited to 25 km/h, mandatory pedaling to activate assistance. You do not need a license, license plate, specific insurance, or a moped-approved helmet. You can ride on bike paths.
Some tricycles sold online display significantly higher power and speeds exceeding 25 km/h. These are electric mopeds, subject to legal obligations that their sellers rarely mention. Our tricycles are not in this category, and this is no coincidence.
Decathlon or Our Website: What’s the Practical Difference?
There is no wrong answer. Placing an order on Decathlon is convenient if you already have an account there or wish to use a credit. Delivery, the tricycle itself, the warranty, and after-sales service are exactly the same as if you ordered here.
