Damius participates in PRODAYS 2026, the professional bicycle trade show

Damius will participate in the Prodays 2026 Bike Show, from July 5 to 7 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, stand A27. This is an opportunity for the brand to meet industry professionals, present its 2027 range, and showcase the Damius Compact, nominated for the Eddy du Vélo awards in the “Best Product Development” category.

Prodays, 25 years of professional meetings

The Prodays Bike Show is the main professional gathering for the cycling industry in France. This year marks its 25th edition. The show is held at Pavilion 4 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris, and brings together over 500 brands, 6,700 professionals, 250 stands, and 120 journalists from 20 different nationalities over three days.

Prodays is a trade show strictly reserved for industry players: retailers, distributors, sales agents, and specialized journalists. The general public does not have access. This is where distribution partnerships are formed, upcoming ranges are presented, and a significant portion of purchasing decisions for the following season are concretely made. In twenty-five years, the show has established itself as the benchmark location for taking the pulse of the French cycling market, identifying emerging trends, and meeting in three days what would otherwise take months to see.

Concrete benefits for retailers

For a retailer, the Prodays show is not just a place to see bikes. It is a work tool. In one or two days on-site, it is possible to meet dozens of brands, compare ranges side-by-side, negotiate commercial terms, and leave with an up-to-date supplier catalog. Damius, over ten years of specialization in adult tricycles

Damius was created in 2012 in Miramas, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, with a fairly simple idea: to design electric tricycles for adults that truly meet the expectations of people who no longer feel comfortable on a classic bicycle. Not simple medical products, not compensation devices. Stable, comfortable tricycles that restore autonomy to those who need it.

For ten years, the brand has refined its range around this conviction. All current models comply with European EPAC regulations: 250W motor, assistance up to 25 km/h, and mandatory pedaling to trigger the assistance. No registration is required, and no special equipment is imposed. This is an important point for both customers and retailers, as it considerably simplifies sales and daily use.

Product design and development remain based in Miramas. Final assembly, testing before shipping, and after-sales service are handled from the Provençal workshops by a dedicated team. Jérémy manages the after-sales service and spare parts shipping, while Cédric and Sébastien handle the final assembly and testing of each tricycle before departure. For a retailer, this is a concrete advantage: in the event of a problem, there is no remote service center or unpredictable supply delays.

Damius has also recently established a presence on the Decathlon marketplace, which reflects the brand’s growing visibility among the general public. However, physical distribution in stores remains the priority channel for properly supporting customers in their choice, and it is this network that we are looking to expand.

The 2027 range and the Damius Compact preview

At stand A27, professional visitors will be able to discover our entire current range and, for the first time, the 2027 innovations. Retailers present at the show will have the opportunity to see them, try them out, and discuss them directly with our team.

This edition has a special flavor for us. The Damius Compact has been selected by the Prodays organizers among the nominees for the 2026 Eddy for Best Product Development. The Eddys are awards presented each year during the show to recognize the most significant products and initiatives in the cycling industry.

Being nominated for an Eddy is recognition by the industry professionals themselves. It gives us the opportunity to present the Compact in a context where retailers are precisely evaluating the products they wish to list for the coming season. The result will be announced during the show.
